Do not overtighten the pin onto the bolt!
It only needs to be hand tight!

It is plastic onto a metal bolt so the thread can strip!

My RIF Holster/Hands Free Belt Mount

So.... If your like me and get tired of carying your RIF when your a 'dead man walking' or just standing around waiting, then this is kit for you!

I spent a long time looking for a system like this, but had no joy. Apart from the odd one I found in the states (which would have cost an arm and a leg to import). So I went about making my own.

I tried to make it as universal as possible, so far I know it works with M4/M16 variants, and smaller MP5's, basically anything that has the M4 style reciever.

I started designing the parts in Fusion360, which did take a while and several attempts to get right.

I even designed a belt clip that can just work with a sling stock mount, but it didn't work quite as well.

But... After sever iterrations, I finally got a design that worked and starting working on the pin section. This was a tricky one as I wanted to replace the rear pin in the receiver as this was the best palce to attatch the rifle to the belt clip. This again to several attempts to get right.

Next to figure out was the pin....

Rear reciever

This again took several attempts to get right. as the first few times the pin kept snapping. I fixed this by using a longer pin with a 5mm, 50m bolt going all the way through the pin.

This solved that issue, and then i jsut had to get the pin the right length which again took a few attempts.

After some vigorouse testing, I get it down to a 'T' And now it seems to all be holding up nicely!
